The following photographs were taken by William Whitesmith Constantine, who was a Captain in the
4th Battalion at the time. The time and location is very likely the 1913 Annual Camp at Redcar, N Yorks as the local landmark Roseberry Topping appears in the background of one of the shots. A summary of newspaper reports of the Camp is on page 2. Click here. Part of the uniform of Staff Officers at the time was the white topped cap, which can be seen on some of the photographs.
