Letter of Condolence to Mrs Constantine.

Capt Herbert Norman Constantine was killed in action on the 27th May 1918 on the Aisne.
Other people referred to in the letter are Capt Thomas Sowerby Rowlandson, 4th Yorks Battalion, killed in action on the 15th September 1916 in the later stages of the Battle of the Somme;
Capt John [Jack] Chapman, 21st Bn The Manchester Regiment, who died, aged 27, on the 14th July 1916 earlier in the Somme fighting. He was the son of John George and Florence Gertrude Chapman, of Amberley, Newmarket. Native of Harrogate. He is buried in Dantzing Alley British Cemetery, Mametz.
Elsie was the sister of Herbert Constantine.
